6. Ewan McGregor Gives His Best Performance Yet

As expected, though, Ewan McGregor emerges once again as the show's best actor, and in Part VI gives his best performance yet.

Forced to confront the fact Anakin Skywalker is gone whilst protecting his hidden children, Obi-Wan continuously puts his life on the line throughout the episode, driven by his duty as a Jedi and his love for the man he trained and still believes he let-down.

McGregor explores Obi-Wan's trauma and heartache throughout these hardships with poise and sadness, much like he did in Revenge of the Sith, especially when he comes face-to-face with Vader and accepts Anakin's fate.

It's an immaculate cap-off to a performance that hasn't wavered throughout the show, and comes complete with a few clever call-backs McGregor sells without flaw. Speaking of which...
