For what faults it may have had, the Wonderland-set spin-off still managed to get a number of things right. While it seems criminal that Naveen Andrews has been reduced to taking a role on a show not many people were invested in from the start, he still gave quite the turn as Jafar. With his villainy born from the abuse suffered at the hands of his father, the Sultan of Agrabah,, Jafar embraced his role, letting no one and nothing stop him from gaining power and ultimately terrorising Wonderland to achieve his goals. In one of the character's best moments and with the laws of magic no longer in effect, Jafar managed to make his father love him, with Jafar letting only a moment of long-brewing emotion wash over him before turning and killing his father to finally make them even. It's a great scene from Andrews, who delivers throughout the entire series. With the popular Will Scarlett having made the jump from Once Upon A Time in Wonderland to the mother show in the current season, hopefully Jafar, too, can be set free from the bottle viewers last saw him in to help reign terror on Storybrooke down the line.
