3. Piper Grows A Pair
The season two trailer begins with Pipers voiceover as if she is reciting; I am a model citizen, and no longer pose a threat. Seems the gal is working to free herself from the SHU, which is where shes shacked up in the first scene of season two - also teased online by Netflix. Not only does she appear to be working the system with her monotone mantra, assumedly spoken to the prison warden, shes also working through some personal issues. The 50-second opening scene depicts her as a little unhinged, what with painting a bird on her cell wall with old egg yolk. If this meek shell of an inmate has you thinking theres no chance shes gonna rise up once more - think again. Midway through the trailer, she shouts This place is bullsh*t! before snarling in an acid tone, Im a lone wolf, and a vicious one. Dont make me rip your throat out. If this is an inclination as to where shes headed next, its about time she shook off her upper-crust sensibilities and took to the path of a hardened con. Because, really, Pipers journey is its most exciting when she absolutely goes ballistic.
