8. Art's Investigation

Art was the partner of Detective Beth Childs, the clone who commits suicide in the pilot and whose identity Sarah subsequently assumes. He does have the standard genre blindness when it comes to the clones, even though he has a lot of the pieces of the puzzle, but then, who would jump to human cloning as the most likely scenario? However, Sarah very nearly explains the truth to him in season one, so it's possible that he'll find out early on in season two. Even if Art remains oblivious, his investigation might put a spanner in the works for all parties involved. He could have been a dull righteous cop with an unwavering moral compass, but instead he's shown to withhold information and even resorts to blackmailing Sarah-as-Beth earlier in the season. His pursuit of Sarah probably won't end well, but it'll be thrilling to watch.
