7. The Mystery Of Kira

Sarah's biological daughter Kira has been a bit of an enigma from the very first episode. As far as we know, the other clones are infertile, so why is it that Sarah could conceive? Both Alison and Cosima are now almost as protective of Kira as Sarah herself, and even Helena immediately bonded with her. In the final episode of season one, she disappears with Mrs S, either in a kidnapping staged by Rachel Duncan or because Sarah's foster mother whisked her away for her safety. The trailer confirms that Sarah's search for Kira will be a plot point in the second season, but the series has also been dropping hints that Kira is as extraordinary as her mother. She is incredibly perceptive, so much so that she realises Alison is impersonating Sarah within seconds while Mrs S is completely fooled. She also recovers abnormally quickly after she's hit by a car. Could it be that Kira's birth wasn't an accident, but an endgame?
