Although Parks and Recreation didn't quite live up to its workplace sitcom predecessor The Office's grand legacy and rewatchability, Michael Schur's excellent political satire comedy still managed to win the hearts and minds of everyone who watched it.
So much of that warmth came from the characters - those Pawnee residents of various degrees of quirk-some and wonder. Across 126 episodes over seven unforgettable seasons we met so many weird, wonderful and colourful characters that Pawnee felt like a real-life version of Springfield from The Simpsons.
