The sublime political mockumentary Parks and Recreation ended just five short years ago, with 125 episodes under its belt.
The show takes a comedic look at local government, following the deputy director of the Parks and Recreation department in the fictional city of Pawnee as she ever so slowly climbs her way up the greased ladder of public office.
With an ever-expanding cast, there's a personality for everyone, whether it's Poehler's peppy and unswervable lifelong public servant Leslie Knope, Nick Offerman's hard-nosed but soft-hearted libertarian Ron Swanson, or any of the crazy characters that have graced the show over the years - from Detlef Schrempf to The Fonz himself.
A lockdown special earlier this year brought back all of the original cast, and with it a new buzz for the show (as if it ever really went away). Whether this spells a new reunion - which, by the way, Amy Poehler has repeatedly said she's ready for - is still uncertain, but it was an undeniable pleasure just to see all the old faces again, doing what they do best.
