Parks And Recreation: Top 10 Guest Stars

1. Joe Biden

Yeah, sure, only the Democratic vice-president Joe Biden made an appearance on Parks and Recreation. Seriously. For an engagement present Ben pulls a few (hundred) favours in Washington to get her a meeting with the one and only. Now, Leslie's love of Joe Biden is no secret - she has regularly lusted after him, and his body in particular - so it was sure to be a stellar meeting of political minds when the great Joe Biden and the splendid Leslie Knope finally meet. I mean, of course it was hilariously silly. The first thing Leslie Knope utters to Biden is "you...my name came out of your mouth!" which completely epitomises the shock that meeting your idol can do to a person. The rest of her behaviour is...less understandable. Biden tells her he is delighted to have her there, which Knope takes as an offer for Hillary Clinton's job (I mean, obviously). After Leslie strokes his face, tells him he's handsome (although have you seen pictures of a young Biden? Me-ow), and says they'll see each other tomorrow (they won't), Ben escorts her out before any, er, shenanigans can occur. Biden's appearance was brief, but extraordinary. Knowledge of Biden's cameo on Parks and Recreation was very much kept under lock and key. As well as being a wonderful surprise for viewers, there was fear that if it got leaked before the election that there would have to be a similarly built-in cameo for Republican vice-presidential candidate Paul Ryan (who, regrettably, was a less handsome young man). As Leslie leaves she tells the security guard to take care of Biden, "he's precious cargo!" And that he is.

Fan of Taylor Swift and the Dead Kennedys (a duet I can only dream of). I like dystopias, slasher films, and video games that make me feel things.
