With certain members of the cast and crew of WanadVision having long teased a major surprise appearance in the series, most viewers believed that the arrival of Evan Peters’ Quicksilver was the surprise in question.

According to Paul Bettany, though, the true big shocker of WandaVision has yet to be revealed.

Speaking to Esquire’s Explain This, the Vision actor enthused:

“There is one character that has not been revealed, and it is very exciting. It is an actor that I’ve longed to work with all of my life, and we have some amazing scenes together and the chemistry between us is, I think, extraordinary and it is just fireworks on set. I’m really excited for people to see that stuff.”

These comments from Bettany actually came after he was asked about whether Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange could make an appearance – with the Brit’s response seeming to downplay the Master of the Mystic Arts being the big reveal.

With the seventh episode of WandaVision landing on Disney+ earlier today, that means that there are just two episodes left for the series to serve up this hotly-debated surprise.

Already, fans have speculated that Michael Fassbender or Sir Ian McKellan's Magneto could make an appearance, while others are hopeful that the major shocker will be the MCU debut of the Fantastic Four's Reed Richards.
