Peaky Blinders: 10 Best Characters Who Appeared After Season One

Anya Taylor Joy elevates every project she's a part of so it's no surprise that Gina Gray made this list. Gina first appeared in Peaky Blinders' fifth season as the wife of Michael Gray. The duo met whilst Michael was leading the US branch of the Shelby Company Limited. When Michael is summoned back to Birmingham following the Wall Street Crash, the duo quickly marry.

Gina has a lot in common with Oswald Mosley in terms of the way her arc is playing out. Both characters were antagonists in season five, but it seems that their most dastardly deeds will soon play out in season six. We'll dive into this further but to do so, we need to rewind back to what we said about Michael.

If you'll recall, we praised Michael for inciting a civil war within the Peaky Blinders and again, this is something that will certainly play out in season six. It's refreshing to see a threat come from within the Shelby's own ranks - well, partly anyway. Enter Gina.

Michael may seem like the villain for now, but Gina is so much more than a doting wife. She's undoubtedly controlling Michael and even if he was always destined to turn against his family, it's something that she's accelerated and exacerbated.

This has led many to suspect that Gina's objective, whatever it may be, is personal and not just an opportunistic grab at power. She's a character of very few words. We basically know nothing about her background. Some suspect she may even be related to Al Capone. For now, we know for sure that Gina is shady and we can't wait to see what she gets up to in season six.
