Picard – 10 Past Clues To What Could Happen Next (& Where To Find Them)

Scorpion is the two-part episode of Voyager which introduces Seven of Nine. Obviously, the introduction of the charter is important. Seven of Nine plays a crucial role in Voyager.

She is the first Borg we see who is properly rehabilitated, a theme of clear importance to the Picard series. Seven is a bit of a maverick, she is strong-minded and highly skilled. What this boils down to is that Seven of Nine was a turning point for Voyager. The series got much better after she joined. If Jerri Ryan as Seven of Nine brings the same qualities to Picard, the show could get even better from here.

Scorpion tells us another thing about Picard too. It’s a great example of a Star Trek staple, the season finale cliff-hanger. We already know that Picard has been renewed for a second season, Seven’s entrance alone was a cliff-hanger; the finale of Picard may not wrap up the unravelling mystery. In the end, we might be left guessing.
