2. Herr Starr Meets Jezebel (Vol. 8)
Poor Herr Star. Despite being one of the most hated characters in the comic he is one of those evil men you just can't keep down. This particular misfortune he suffers is simply one of those iconic moments you simply cannot ignore. It is Preacher's version of the Governor losing his eye and fans would surely rage against the network if it was committed despite being particularly gruesome. In fact just like Starr's run in with the cannibals in War in the Sun it is one of the great moments in which we really want Starr to die but also for him to overcome the odds and keep up his pursuit of Jesse et al. In fact by this point Starr has a penis head, no leg and no genitals but does that stop him? Does it Hell. Herr Star is a relentless machine intent on carrying out his mission and terminating the Preacher and his merry band of misfits. If having his dick bitten off by a huge dog can help him achieve that then so be it.
