10. I Will Become Arseface! (Vol. 1)
Love him or hate him Arseface is an integral character in the Preacher universe and despite being consistently the comedic element in a very dark world, the hideous little dude is an absolute must for the TV series. After growing up with an abusive, racist father it's no wonder Arseface attempted to blow his brains out and end it all. But as one of life's perpetual losers he managed to mess even his suicide up and was left with the gorgeous mug we've come to know and love. At first the little bugger sets out to put an end to Jesse Custer but eventually he becomes more like Jesse and Cassidy the Vampires little mascot following them round and helping where he can. Arseface even landed his own spin-off one shot in which he becomes a best selling musician. There was always concern how a character like this would come across in a film or TV adaptation but as you can see from the test make-up above, even a character like this could be made to look realistic and in-keeping with the sinister but darkly humorous tone of the show.
