4. TC's Character

It's been well established that Cassidy is Preacher's most valuable asset when it comes to the humour, but newcomer TC really proves his worth in Gonna Hurt. He might be L'Angelle's minion, but he's pretty nice when you get to know him, and his innocence is actually what makes his so much fun. He sews up Cassidy's gunshot wound, and the pair have a great conversation. We get the impression that these two have a lot more in common than you'd think, because they're both misunderstood. They might've even been friends had it not later come out that Cassidy is a vampire.

TC isn't the sharpest knife in the kitchen though, and that gives both Cassidy and Tulip the opportunity to manipulate him. Tulip, specifically, takes advantage of his hospitality and uses it to get him to reveal some key information about Marie L'Angelle and the unholy deals she makes.

It's unlikely that Preacher will stay in Angelville for too long, but while we're here we might as well enjoy TC and all the humour that the character brings to the table.
