Preacher Season 3: 3 Ups & 1 Down From 'The Tom/Brady'
1. Hoover Becoming A Vampire
Speaking of humour, Hoover - the out-of-luck companion of Herr Starr - has proven to be one of the show's funniest characters. We were all a little worried that he'd met his maker during the latest episode, but turning him into a vampire is a genius story move, because it gives the character the one thing he's always been lacking in: power.
If Hoover manages to make it back to The Grail headquarters, he'll not only prove to Starr that he's incredibly capable of getting himself out of a precarious predicament, but he'll also be able to demonstrate his newfound abilities. He's never been authoritative like Featherstone, nor has he been forceful with his fists, so the idea that he's one of the Grail's top operatives is a little hard to believe. Well, not anymore. Nobody will be taking any sh*t from Hoover from now on, that's for sure.
It's also pretty ironic that he's called Hoover, because now that he's a vamp, he's going to be doing a lot of sucking.
And now on to the negative...
