One of the most iconic characters in the Preacher comics stands out not so much because of his dynamic personality or great one-liners, but because hes such a striking visual image you cant get him out of your head. No matter how much you want to. Arse-Face is the unfortunate/appropriate nickname given to a kid who shot himself in the face with a shotgun. His failed suicide attempt, in the wake of Nirvana singer Kurt Cobains death from the same method, left the kid with a horribly scarred appearance, and a severly impaired ability to speak (most of his dialogue comes out muffled and barely discernible). He looks like an arse. Like that episode of South Park. Hence, Arse-Face. As one of Preachers more ridiculous, idiosyncratic creations, you could understand AMC maybe leaving him out of the adaptation. Worry not, for one of the first photos tweeted from the set has Jesse Custer having a natter with the young man, with the role of Arse-Face being essayed by Ian Colletti, in his first major role. Hope he doesnt get typecast...
