3. Rocket And Groot

The future of the Guardians franchise is well and truly up in the air now that Disney have severed ties with James Gunn, and though it's looking less and less likely that a third film will be made, there could yet be life for the franchise on the small screen.

Ignoring for a second the complications of getting the cast to collaborate with Disney after Gunn's firing, there are two members of the Guardians specifically who'd lend themselves well to the upcoming streaming service. Rocket and Groot - Guardians' most iconic pairing - may be separated for the time being, but the likelihood is that they'll be reunited by the time the credits start rolling on Avengers 4; if their story isn't set to continue on the big screen, then a TV series makes perfect sense, especially when they've already headlined a series of their own in the pages of Marvel Comics.

Add to that the fact they're among the MCU's most popular characters, and it becomes all too clear that they provide two clear reasons for fans to develop an interest in Disney's new platform - with or without a big screen accompaniment.
