Loki's death may not have settled in for a great many Marvel fans, which is why Marvel are seemingly poised to give him a brand new series of his own.
Although it's doubtful that they'll be resurrecting Tom Hiddlestone's character (some of those deaths from Infinity War have to matter), it's obvious Marvel are aware of his influence and will be looking to tap into what made the character so compelling back when he debuted in 2011's Thor. This can only mean that we'll be seeing Loki as we used to; smart, conniving, and thoroughly duplicitous, and most likely while he was still in Asgard.
Marvel already experienced great success in putting the character under a microscope during the rebooted Journey into Mystery reboot written by Kieron Gillen, so expect them to take inspiration from there as they attempt to mine more cinematic gold from everyone's favourite trickster.

In his current role, Ewan incorporates his love of cinema, comic books, and history into written pieces and video essays for WhatCulture's Film & TV channel, as well as WhatCulture Gaming and WhatCulture Horror, with a particular focus on nineties-era Dad Movies, old school Westerns, and Golden Age Hollywood Noir. John Carpenter is his fave, and he thinks Batman Beyond should never have been cancelled. If that's your vibe, you'll probably like his stuff.
