Sarah Wayne Callies' casting came with a plot synopsis attached. It states: "When clues surface suggesting that Michael may be alive, Sara teams with Lincoln to engineer the series' biggest escape ever."

You can pitch together a rough idea of how the season could take shape from that one line, adding in a couple of other details that have emerged. It's reasonable to assume that Sara will be enjoying life with her new husband when she stumbles across these 'clues'.

If Michael is jailed, this would be a feasible way to bring the entire cast back together, in order to rescue the one man who led them to freedom. At the same time, there have been rumours that Michael may be suffering from amnesia following his 'death' which could create huge problems for the breakout gang. It would certainly be an enticing prospect.
