No official word has leaked from Fox with regards to when the new season of Prison Break will air. All fans know for certain is that the show is filming right now, in April and beyond.

Some rumours suggest that the show may arrive in early 2017 , though the stronger suggestions are that Prison Break Season 5 could be with fans as soon as September 2016; a perfect cure for those post-Summer blues.

There would be plenty of competition around that time, but it could be a fantastic time for Prison Break to demonstrate it can still slug it out in a ratings war with the big boys.
