Pros And Cons Of Binge Watching TV

lost-most-dedicatedPro You Have To Unless you want to miss out on some of the greatest shows of all time, you€™re going to have to binge watch. Unless you have the most extreme discipline and watch 86 episodes of The Sopranos over 86 weeks, but I have a feeling the writing and sheer addiction wouldn't allow that. The reality is, as much as I want TV to be the only thing I do, it€™s not. People have to delegate time to television and that means that some shows slip through the cracks. Almost all of my favorite shows I either watched in its entirety post-live run, or I caught up on multiple seasons in order to watch its next season air live. Con The Emotional Connection of Years Dedication Thanks to Netflix and some miracle, I was able to watch all six seasons of Lost in a shade over three weeks. A lot of friends of mine had spent six years on the same journey and cite the show as having them gotten through a lot of tough times. Fans that saw the show during its run on ABC were on a six year adventure, and have a special bond with Lost. It was frustrating and rewarding for them and I€™ll never have that same experience with that show (and summers of not knowing, which I€™m glad I didn't have). What do you think?

I'm currently getting my masters in Writing and Publishing in Chicago. I usually fill my time with marathoning great television. My favorite shows are The Sopranos, Mad Men, Six Feet Under, Breaking Bad, Dexter, The Wire, Lost, and so much more. Count on me to write mainly about television.
