8. Wild Dog (Arrow Season 6)
Wild Dog's outfit in Arrow's sixth season is one that this writer thought long and hard about including on this list because, in all honesty, he actually likes it. That doesn't, however, excuse the show from the baffling decision to create it in the first place.
The fact is that when Wild Dog debuted in Season 5, he had the most comic-accurate outfit on the show, maintaining the hockey mask, dog T-shirt and combat pants that the original version of the character sported in the comics. And that's what makes the so-called 'upgrade' all the more head-scratching.
It's not bad by any means, and it's certainly more logical, but it was just another example of the show's infuriating policy of throwing unflattering bulky armor at their heroes and calling it an 'upgrade'. It was disrespectful to the creators of the comics and completely misunderstood the essence of the Wild Dog character. And that made it all the more satisfying when they went had him go back to basics in Seasons 7 and 8.
