Batman has never really had a comeback because during the character's 80 plus year history he has never really gone away.

There have been ups and downs, but one big highlight has to be the one-two punch combinations of 2008's The Dark Knight movie and 2009's Arkham Asylum video game.

The film gave us the fantastic Heath Ledger performance, but the game gave us something we had all been craving for: a version of Hamill's Joker darker and less restricted than his previous incarnations.

This Joker was truly terrifying across Rocksteady's series. Everything you love and love to hate about the character is embodied in the best selling games. He's funny, he's scary, and he's Mark Hamill. What more do you need?
