Add in the presence of FBI Agent Frank Lundy and the ever-suspicious Sergeant Doakes and every episode of this season is filled with tension.
Jaime Murray also joins the cast this season as a new love interest for Dexter, pitting him in a love triangle with sweet and loyal Rita. The season strikes a perfect balance between both of its plots before beautifully tying them together in the finale. This, my friends, is perfect television!
