Ranking All Seasons Of 24 From Worst To Best

8. 24: Live Another Day

24 Jack Bauer
20th Television

After leaving Los Angeles, crashing through Washington DC and rampaging through New York, the ninth season saw Jack Bauer cross the pond into London and fans of the series were treated to a shorter (only 12 episodes) new day. Whoever is left from previous seasons reunites on screen for a season that is very divisive - albeit with some intense action sequences and genuine growth for its characters.

Don't get me wrong, this is a good season of 24. But the reason for it being ranked so low is because it lacks the same flair previous days had. The evolution of pairing Chloe up with a gang of plucky hackers felt out-of-character for the usually neurotic counterpart to Jack, and the CIA story threads lacked a lot of the punch the earlier CTU cast brought to the table.

But the return of Cheng Zhi as the final antagonist gives us a villain to cheer for when Jack disposes of him the only way Jack knows how.

With Kiefer Sutherland recently stating that he would return to 24 "if a great idea" were pitched, let's hope this wasn't the last time we ever saw Bauer blast away anyone who looked at him wrong.

I overthink a lot of things. Will talk about pretty much anything for a great length of time. I'm obsessed with General Slocum from the 2002 Spider-Man film. I have questions that were never answered in that entire trilogy!
