Ranking Every Marvel Animated TV Series From Worst To Best

16. Spider-Man: The New Animated Series

The forgotten hero of Spidey's early 2000s renaissance, Spider-Man: The New Animated Series offered a remarkably dark take on the wall-crawler, lasting just a season before it was given the boot. It also had the bummer ending to end all other bummer endings, and gave Stan Lee one of his best cameos in animation too.

It's definitely worth a watch if you get the chance to track it down, as it had a great creative influence in Brian Bendis who, at the time, was still riding high on the success of Ultimate Spider-Man (the comic, not the show).
