Ranking Every Season Of The Walking Dead (So Far)

It's only one episode away from completion, but if the finale proves to be only half as epic as it's been teased, Season Ten might just be the best season in years. Since it isn't finished, it sits here on the list.

Thanks to some of the show's most poignant performances - Norman Reedus, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Dania Gurira, Melissa McBride and Avi Nash, to name a few - and some of the show's most genuinely shocking moments, Season Ten has already proved to be a massively impressive achievement.

Negan's undercover journey to destroy Alpha is very well crafted and engaging, as is watching Carol deal with some severe PTSD. Daryl's first major defeat in a long time (well, stalemate, but he's more hurt than we're used to) when he goes against Alpha and her men is one of the best moments on the show so far, and fresh proof of just how great this series can be.

Fans are looking forward to seeing Maggie, whose return has been confirmed, but no one's looking forward to seeing who we lose. Either way, Season Ten is the way The Walking Dead should be, and lets us know just how far it's come and has left to go.
