Not only is Black Noir one of the most intriguing and entertaining characters in the series, he is also one of the funniest for just his reactions alone. It's easy to think that he is one of the worst supes there is, particularly with his history in the comics, but in the first season he actually does relatively little.

While he did track down Frenchie and Kimiko, brutally killing the latter before she was able to reanimate, it was nothing compared to some of the other members of the Seven. It is in the second season that Black Noir's brutally really ramps up.

Not only does he kill innocents while in Syria at the start of the season, and destroy Billy's aunt's house while hunting the Boys, he attacked and almost killed Starlight, and would have succeeded if not for Queen Maeve.

However, Noir rarely acts of his own accord, he is usually acting on the orders of Homelander or Mr. Edgar. In the show he is really more of an attack dog than anything, destroying whatever he is pointed at with no respite. He is essentially a killing machine, only targeting who he is told to rather than making any decisions himself.
