Ranking Every Superhero TV Show From Worst To Best

6. Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Superhero TV
Marvel

A lot of the time it feels like Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is the forgotten little sibling of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The movies don't really acknowledge it, and it's been far surpassed by the Netflix Marvel shows, and even outclassed by Agent Carter (which would've made this list had it not sadly been cancelled).

Still, it's come a long way since its humble (and pretty awful) beginnings. It's well known by this point that the series kicked into gear with the tie in to Captain America: The Winter Soldier, but it's still been a mixed bag since then.

It's had some interesting ideas (Inhumans) and character arcs (turning Skye into Daisy, and with that the real lead of the show), and the performances from the S.H.I.E.L.D. members are all enjoyable.

Perhaps the show's biggest crime is that, at a time when everything else Marvel puts on screen feels essential, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. never enters the realm of 'must-see'. Save for the rare great episode - 4,722 Hours was incredible, but nothing like what the show actually is - it does the job and is decent enough, but never much more than that.
