Ranking The 20 Best Arrowverse Costumes
17. Martian Manhunter
When Supergirl's Hank Henshaw revealed himself to be J'onn J'onzz in disguise, there was a lot of shock among fans of the show - and it wasn't just directed at the revelation, but at the spectacle that unfolded before their eyes. It's quite easy to see why, because the sight of David Harewood slowly turning green as he grew a lot taller and ultimately transformed into the Martian Manhunter was certainly one to marvel at.
Designed entirely through the use of computer-generated imagery, J'onn's Martian appearance is heavily influenced by the comics, though there are some differences - most notably the fact that his body is covered in blue armour from head-to-toe. That being said, the red belt design across his chest is instantly recognisable.
Though he mostly remains in his human guise, he wastes no time shedding the facade when the city needs him and, seeing him fly through the sky in his true form really is a testament to just how strong the show's CGI can be.
