Ranking The Major Buffy The Vampire Slayer Villains From Worst To Best

10. Warren Mears

Spike Drusilla
Mutant Enemy

Whilst Andrew and Jonathon weren't much of a threat to Buffy, Warren's cold and often psychotic inner-rage made him an unexpectedly deadly opponent.

His initial introduction as a robotics whizz that had a knack for building sex robots didn't exactly scream supervillain, but it was evident early on that there were much darker forces at play inside Warren's head - making him a more believable and disturbing kind of antagonist.

Often completely underestimated by the Scooby Gang due to The Trio's lackluster schemes, Warren soon proved that he was well and truly evil when he viciously murdered his ex-girlfriend and through the use of magic, convinced Buffy that she was responsible for it.

His malice didn't end there either, as he even turned on his own companions before making an attempt on Buffy's life with a gun, although, in the crossfire, he accidentally gunned down Tara, which sent Willow off the deep-end and allowed Dark Willow to be born.

This accidental killing ultimately sealed his fate, as Willow was quick to track him down, torture him and eventually skin him alive. This may have been a tad extreme, but we were all secretly cheering her on when she did it.
