Ranking The Major Buffy The Vampire Slayer Villains From Worst To Best
16. Jonathon Levinson
Much like the aforementioned Harmony, Jonathon was a semi-regular character back in the show's early days, only back then he fought on the side of good.
Really getting into the spotlight with season three's 'Earshot' which saw Buffy talking him down an attempted suicide, he soon repaid the debt by presenting her with the Class Protector award during 'The Prom' and fought alongside The Scooby Gang on graduation day.
His penchant for the dark arts was first shown in the episode 'Superstar' in which the fabric of reality was altered so that Jonathon was the most famous person alive - being a model, actor, and general hero that was adored by everyone the world over.
Although it wasn't until he formed The Trio alongside Andrew and Warren that he became a true adversary of Buffy's, but despite his self-proclaimed stance as a villain, Jonathon never strived for the same level of chaos and mayhem that his cohorts did. A facet of his character that ultimately leads to him betraying Warren and assisting Buffy in taking him down.
It was certainly an interesting choice to put Jonathon in a villainous role, but clearly, he was too pure of heart for such things.
