8. Pickle Rick
“I’m Pickle Rick!”
In what has become a catchphrase more insufferable than the comical “wubba lubba dub dub”, because of being made into a remix of dubstep garbage, Pickle Rick is both the greatest and worst thing to happen to mankind.
To avoid family therapy with his grandchildren and daughter, Rick takes the logical step of not telling them to F-off and never come back, but instead turning himself into an immobile pickle so that he can yell a catchphrase which will be plastered all over billboards, shirts, and the skin of short-sighted fans via ink.
As a funny for five minutes gag which ran for about twenty, Pickle Rick is a sketch which quickly turned into mindless action as the butt of the joke became gory deaths of ferocious rats and men in black.
The only moment of real value during the entire episode is when the family’s therapist challenges and puts a stumped Rick in his place as he tries to belittle her profession.
