Rick And Morty Season 3: Every Episode Ranked From Worst To Best

7. The ABC's Of Beth

Rick And Morty
Adult Swim

Marketed as an episode to do with Beth, the excitement for its release was comparable to that of being nagged by your mess of an alcoholic mum who blames you for why she doesn’t have the curves and glamorous life of a Hollywood goddess.

As expected, Beth’s burning need of approval from Rick was annoying, as she went on another self-indulgent and murderous tirade in an Adventure Time daycare centre to try and prove that she is her father’s equal.

Thankfully, however, momentary escape from the hell of cotton candy clouds and leprechaun rainbows was allowed to join Morty and Summer as they got to know Jerry’s three-boobed girlfriend in a hilarious subplot, which faithfully ended in misery with Jerry again being a spineless coward.

Although enjoyable because of Jerry being Jerry, The ABC’s of Beth concluded with one of the brilliant philosophies about the meaningless of life that fans have come to expect, one which had a huge impact on the season’s finale.
