Riverdale: Ranking Every Character From Worst To Best

Which Riverdale characters 'ascended' their way into our hearts, and which ones to failed to do so?

Riverdale Season 1

Riverdale has been a fixture of TV for nearly three years now. During that time, it has bewitched, baffled and bewildered its fans with its apparently endless supply of wacky storylines and off-the-wall concepts (many of which really do beggar belief). Aside from all of that, it's also a unique twist on the Archie Comics series and it is undoubtedly one of the most aesthetically-pleasing shows on television.

Of course, no show is complete without memorable characters and it goes without saying that Riverdale's abundance of truly unique personalities sets it apart from anything else on our screens.

A unique (there's that word again) spin on some of Archie Comics' most famous characters, the show is led by its core four teenagers Archie Andrews, Jughead Jones, Betty Cooper and Veronica Lodge - all of whom embark on secret missions to discover whatever mysteries lie in Riverdale's grim history (and, you know, unmask serial killers and Gargoyle Kings along the way). Though not every character has gone down as well as these four, they're all memorable in their own way.

From Gryphon Queens to Gargoyle Kings and corrupt business dealers to demented cult leaders, Riverdale has been incredibly ambitious when it comes to characters. With that in mind, let's take a look back at every major one of them and, while we're at it, rank them.
