5. Varchie Lives

You don't have to be a super sleuth to figure out that Archie Andrews and Veronica Lodge are destined to be together. From the moment the latter arrived in town, she captured Archie's attention (and his heart) and, despite his annoyingly constant attempts to, he just hasn't been able to find anyone like her.

Though they spent most of this season apart, it was still clear that 'Varchie' was endgame. These two function much better as characters when they're together and, in all honesty, Archie is lost for a purpose without Veronica. That being said, last week's twist with Ronnie apparently reuniting her failed relationship with Reggie was so problematic that it threatened to end the season on an emotionally low note. Thankfully, the finale changed everything.

Having confronted death head-on, Archie fearlessly told Veronica how he felt about her, to which she responded by revealing that nothing happened between her and Reggie that night. She then told him that she felt the same way and, sealing their reunion with a kiss, the pair put the world on notice - 'Varchie' is back.
