4. Shannen Doherty's Appearance

As Archie Andrews sat in his father's truck, he noticed a woman in his rear-view mirror. That woman just so happened to be the person that Fred was helping when he was killed by a speeding driver. That woman emotionally revealed that Fred also saved her life, moving her out of the way just before she was struck and, as a result, he died a hero. And that woman was portrayed by none other than Shannen Doherty.

A long-time friend of Perry's, Doherty once revealed that he had been trying to get her to appear on the show for quite some time and, even though it's heartbreaking that he never got to see her do so when he was alive, it's fitting that she finally made it happen to honor his memory.

With an amazing performance that viewers felt every last bit of, this was undoubtedly the ultimate tribute.
