6. They Were On A Break!

And here's your love triangle of the series. Emma and Will are together, but it's revealed that Will slept with Nina, and so Emma gets super pissed about that. Except Will slept with her while he and Emma were on a break for a month, so it's not like he actually cheated on her. But hey, Emma has absolutely no tolerance for anything resembling infidelity. Only then she wanders off and immediately cheats on her boyfriend by making out with Kieran. Nice one, Emma. This, by the way, is right after he reveals his tragic backstory that his mom and step-dad died in a car accident just a few weeks ago. It's all pretty boring and feels like some sort of MTV mandate given to the writers, like there has to be a teenager sleeping with her teacher and there has to be a love triangle and a boring argument with a cheating boyfriend. It's not bad enough to ruin the episode, but it's the kind of thing you wouldn't have to suffer through if this was a 90 minute movie instead of a 10 hour season of television.
