Scrubs: All Main Characters Ranked Worst To Best

Scrubs has been finished for an incredibly long time now, but the show is still fondly remembered by its viewers. The style of the series was unique, and there hasn't been another sit-com which quite taps into the same level of creativity that Scrubs had.

The central focus on hospitals and doctors gave it an ability to deal with complex issues but juxtaposed this with the wild fantasies of the leading character. The cast of this hilarious comedy was well-stacked with some fantastic performances and well-developed characters.

Each of these roles had a vital part to play and in some cases contrasted the traditional sit-com archetypes that frequent the genre. By exploring these parts and ranking them from the very worst to the best, we can look back at this series and address the aspects which helped to make it such a fun show

Although a lot of the humour may be very outdated by modern standards, there is still a tonne of merit to observe in regards to its ability to create memorable characters.

Jordan - played by Christa Miller - started with incredible promise when she debuted in the series. Introduced as the ex-wife of Dr Cox, we knew that whoever had once chosen to spend their life with the mean-spirited doctor must be a piece of work, and Jordan sure was. She was rude, cruel and took no prisoners, much like Perry.

Unfortunately, things started to go awry when her character began to re-connect romantically with her ex-husband. The edge that she started with was still there to an extent but became softened around the edges in an attempt to make her more traditionally likeable. Unfortunately, this led to the role feeling watered down and somewhat bland.

After she was stripped of her incredibly stand-offish personality, the showrunners tried a few ways to keep her familiar but evolved, and sadly none of these worked too well.

The character went from a stone-cold presence to a lukewarm romantic interest, which is a shame because Miller did such wonderful things with the part whenever she got the opportunity.
