Secret Invasion Episode 1 Review - 7 Ups & 3 Downs

8. Down - Some Janky Action Scenes

Nick Fury Secret Invasion

There were a surprising amount of fight scenes in just the first episode of Secret Invasion. From Agent Ross' tangle with Agent Prescod to open the show, to Hill's scrap with G'iah, Talos fighting Poprischchin, and the chase through Moscow's Unity Day celebrations, Resurrection was relatively action heavy.

For the most part, this was fine. There was nothing inherently wrong with the majority of these scenes (even if they weren't going to rival Daredevil any time soon), but there were some moments that stood out and not in a good way - in particular Talos' fights, which felt less well orchestrated than some of the other sequences in Secret Invasion's debut episode.
