4. Up - The Brutality

If you see an advert for Disney+ these days, it will boast that the platform has the stories you'd expect from Disney, the animation, Pixar etc., as well as those that you wouldn't. The latter refers to the likes of American Horror Story, Sons of Anarchy, and other typically non-Disney-esque materials.

Episode five of Secret Invasion certainly felt like the latter in that it was incredibly brutal. Punches weren't pulled, and cameras didn't pull away when people were shot point-blank in the face.

Gravik showed off his full Groot powers, with Pagon's blood spurting as his body was mutilated by a big tree arm, before the villain went on to slit Beto's throat Gus Fring style. This kind of bloodshed wasn't even limited to the series villain, as some of the good guys got in on the action, too.

G'iah and Varra killed countless Skrulls when Gravik's men attacked them in the latter’s home, and Sonya shot one Skrull through the hand, and another through the skull. This was arguably the darkest the action has been in an MCU project not originally released on Netflix.
