Another character who has been on quite a journey is Capheus Onyango. Over the course of two seasons, he's gone from a matatu driver to a politician (and managed to survive a recast, but that's a matter for another day). Without a doubt the most optimistic character on the show, Capheus believed that he could make a difference in Nairobi, and he was constantly inspired by his favourite movie star Jean-Claude Van Damme.

Season 2 saw the young man move into politics, where he started making some real progress. He was up for election, but because Whispers resurfaced and kidnapped Wolfgang, he was forced to abandon his responsibilities to go to London to help the other sensates rescue their fellow cluster member.

Now that this has all been dealt with, will Capheus return to Nairobi and pick up where he left off? While we're uncertain on some of the other character's directions after the finale, it's likely that the answer to this question would be a solid yes. Capheus's optimism is his best attribute, and he believed in a better tomorrow for Nairobi, and with the spirit of Jean-Claude within him, he would likely see that this becomes a reality.
