Sense8 Finale: 8 Ups & 2 Downs From 'Amor Vincit Omnia'

1. It's A Little Overstuffed

While the finale is more than satisfying, it is a little overstuffed. All of the BPO an Whispers stuff is great and really well paced, as is Amanita and Nomi's wedding, but some of the character-specific arcs suffered. For example, Sun's vendetta with her brother - which had a lot of screen time in the previous episode - was resolved off-screen. Additionally, Capheus' political promise was barely mentioned, nor was Lito's budding Hollywood career.

It's understandable, of course, given than the Wachowskis only had one episode to wrap up a show that was initially intended to run for five seasons. In fact, considering the amount of material that they did manage to squeeze in, the end result could've been much worse, so we'll thank our lucky stars that Sense8 went out with a bang. Quite literally.
