If you grew up in the 90s, you are likely familiar with Disney's afternoon cartoon slate and all of the cartoons that came with it, namely a show called Darkwing Duck. Not to be confused with a certain Duck character Marvel owns the rights to, Darkwing Duck is a classic Disney Property that has entertained children of all ages for years now.

The show was a superhero satire that followed the adventures of an egotistical vigilante named Darkwing Duck, his adopted daughter Gosalyn, and his trusty sidekick Launchpad Mcquack, as they fought to protect their city from the fearsome(and hilarious) forces of evil. The show became incredibly popular with Disney fans, and it seems they'll be getting more of Darkwing and his adventures, thanks to Seth Rogen.

While Disney have yet to say anything in regarding to this news, it has been confirmed by Variety that Seth Rogen and his production company, Point Grey, will be rebooting the superhero satire for a new generation of fans on Disney+. Not much else is known about the series as it in the early stages of development. No writers, directors, or animators have been hired yet.

Perhaps the most interesting, and head-scratching part about this news is the involvement of Seth Rogen and his production company. This will be one of the first Point Grey projects not only targeted towards families, but Disney families. Nothing against the comedian or his production company, but Point Grey has yet to produce any family friendly content as the company is more known for films like Good Boys, This is the End, The Disaster Artist, and TV shows like The Boys.
