She-Hulk: Attorney At Law Episode Eight Review - 8 Ups & 0 Downs
4. Up - Teasing More Hulks
In just the second episode of She-Hulk, the show threw in two Easter Eggs that you wouldn’t necessarily expect from the show. There was the first post-Eternals reference to the fact that there is a Celestial now sticking out of Earth, and of course, the reference to Wolverine using his metal claws in a bar fight.
Episode eight featured a tease that, though more expected in the realms of a She-Hulk show, still caught fans off guard. It came out of nowhere, but Jen, while breaking the fourth wall, seemingly teased that there could be a Red Hulk ready to appear in the MCU one day.
This show has naturally featured more Hulks than ever before, with Jennifer Walters, Bruce Banner, and Emil Blonsky. Though there are plenty of others throughout the history of the comics, Red Hulk is one that fans have been wishing to appear on screen ever since The Incredible Hulk 14 years ago.
The passing of William Hurt sadly means that Thunderbolt Ross won’t take up the mantle as many have expected over the years, but Marvel Studios has never been shy about taking creative liberties. Arguably anyone could be turned into the Red Hulk in the MCU, whether particularly comic-accurate or not.
