She-Hulk: Attorney At Law Episode Five Review - 6 Ups & 3 Downs

5. Up - Nikki & Pug

It’s unfortunate, but the recurring supporting cast of She-Hulk has been forced to take something of a back seat throughout the first four episodes of the series. Naturally, Jen has had more screen time than they have, but they have even been overshadowed by the likes of Bruce Banner, Emil Blonsky, and Wong.

The cameos have damn near took the shine off She-Hulk herself, so the likes of Nikki and Pug were always going to struggle against them. Pug’s main screen time had so far been wasted in a story about a Light Elf scamming an idiot, and though Nikki has featured more consistently, she hasn’t really been given the chance to shine.

This changed in episode five. Though the two of them shared a drink with Jen together in episode three, this was the first opportunity to truly explore their dynamic, and give them a bit of real screen time together.

Nikki and Pug just clicked, they had great chemistry, and were undeniably hilarious on their journey to find Jen some real clothes. More of these two together moving forward please, as you can never have enough of two genuinely likeable characters just being likeable together.
