She-Hulk: Attorney At Law Episode Six Review - 5 Ups & 3 Downs

4. Up - Drunk Jen

She Hulk Just Jen
Marvel Studios

There is absolutely no question who the MVP of this series is. Tatiana Maslany has immediately proven herself to be an inspired casting decision by Marvel Studios, and goes further in cementing that reputation with each and every episode.

It seems that there is something new brought to Jen and She-Hulk every week, and this time it was the influence of alcohol. She has been drunk before in episode two, but soon sobered up after being told she was fired. This however, was far more drunk Jen.

Simply put, she was hilarious. Jen has been kicked around and treated like garbage for the majority of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law so far, and so it was a great change of pace to see her really let loose and enjoy herself for once, even if it was prompted by a social situation that she didn't want to be a part of.

The dancing, the chat with Josh, and her attempts at fighting Titania while absolutely bladdered were some of the highlights of the episode, and though there likely won’t be too much more of drunk Jen throughout the rest of season, this was enough.
