With Season 3 now over much too quickly, Sherlock fans must settle in for another hiatus (although it remains to be seen if the wait will be for another two years). This season once again brought us the brilliant writing, amazing cinematography, and incredible acting that has made this modern re-imagining an international phenomenon, with some new twists thrown in to keep it as innovative and fresh as ever. The Empty Hearse was a ridiculously fun and crazy ride; The Sign of Three was surprisingly sentimental; and His Last Vow was arguably one of the darkest episodes yet. Even with some fans and critics split in their opinion of the show's new, more comedic tone (specifically in the first two episodes), there's no denying its success and storytelling brilliance. With fans clamoring for more, and with Season 4 confirmed, here are some aspects we can look forward to in the new season, many of them gathered from hints dropped throughout Season 3...
