7. Without A Clue

The comedy film Without A Clue sees the stereotype of 'genius Holmes accompanied by bumbling Watson' inverted - here, Dr Watson, as played by Ben Kingsley, is the real brains behind the outfit while Michael Caine's Holmes is merely an actor hired to play the part of the Great Detective to keep Watson, a serious medical practitioner, out of the limelight.
