19. DI Dimmock

After setting up shop in Baker Street once again, Sherlock speedily solves two cases at once - by skyping two detectives at the same time. We'll get to the other in a minute, but the one on the left is a face familiar to Sherlock fans.

It's DI Dimmock, as played by Paul Chequer. He previously appeared all the way back in series one in The Blind Banker. In that episode, he and Sherlock had a prickly relationship but they came around to each other by the end. It looks like the pair have been working together since then.
